New jersey’s folk tradition, play on.
Based in Passaic County, we incorporate a wide range of musical styles from the global diaspora, learning from primary sources. We strive to continue oral traditions of music in New Jersey’s folk tradition.
The Passaic River School of Folk Music offers a unique style of musical education, access to instruments, and rehearsal space in the Northern NJ area.
Joseph plays and teaches guitar, banjo, harmonica, autoharp, mandolin, and trombone.
Our teachers
